Some childhood memories never really leave you. For instance, I can never see spinach and not immediately think of Popeye the sailor. Now much older, I just wish it helped your health that soon. Nonetheless, I make sure to include these green, leafy vegetables in one way or the other in our diet.
Since soups are easy to gulp, this recipe is one of my tried and tested ways to sneak in vegetables in my children’s meals.

INGREDIENTS
- ¼ lbs. spinach
- 2 oz. Onion
- ¼ lbs. heavy cream
- ½ oz. garlic
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 1,5 cup water
- 1 tablespoons butter
DIRECTIONS
- In a saucepan melt the butter and sauté the onion
- Add garlic, spinach, and stock cube and half the water
- Cook until spinach wilts
- Pour everything in a blender and blend, add water
- Serve with pepper and toasted nuts
And feel elated watching your children eat healthy, albeit unknowingly!!
